Welcome to Emma’s Yard 46. Whether you live locally or are on holiday in the Lake District, come and sample our home-made cakes, light meals and freshly ground coffee, all mixed in with a friendly atmosphere and relaxing surroundings.

Yard 46 is located in the centre of Kendal, gateway to the Lakes, which benefits from easy parking, superb shopping and many attractions for all those who live, work or play here. This comfortable cafe offers a great place to shelter from the famous Lake District rain! Please visit us whatever the weather – our attractive patio is the best place in Kendal for lunch or drinks on a sunny day and our log fire will warm you up on colder days.

Find us in the heart of Kendal; the entrance to our coffee shop is between Hogarth Jewellers and Rainbow Office Supplies.

Our licensed coffee bar is open Mondays to Saturdays, from 10am – 4pm.
